Since 2017, JAKARTA GREENER.e has collaborated with creatives, venues and organizations to hold events in an effort to raise awareness of social and environmental issues, while exposing the city to innovative eco-products, ethical and zero-waste items, as well as upcycled, natural, and handmade goods. We took the opportunity during the global lockdown in May 2020 to bring our partner brands, social enterprises and NGOs online. Not only do we make it accessible to find conscious goods, but we strive to maintain a low carbon footprint by sharing our profits to reforestation and mangrove planting projects (Lindungi Hutan / Kemangteer).

Since June 2018, our team of event volunteers were made up of locals and refugees from Eritrea, Sudan and Afghanistan. By purchasing from our platform, you make a difference in the lives of our talented youth, providing them the opportunity to join learning programs, language training and access to food and accommodation.
